Join us for the 7th annual Ales for Rail Trails 5K!
This community 5K will start and finish at Fullsteam Brewery and the course will wind through Old North Durham to Duke Park and along the Ellerbe Creek Trail.

AWARDS: All participants will receive a custom Ales for Rail Trails pint glass filled with Fullsteam ale, and entered to win prizes and gift certificates from several local businesses! The top male and female overall finishers will also receive custom awards.
PACKET PICK-UP: Race bibs can be picked up at Bull City Running on September 30th from 2:00-4:00 pm. Race day packet pickup is also available at Fullsteam Brewery on Sunday, October 1st starting at 12:30 pm.
REGISTRATION: Online registration opens 7/15/17 here!
Fees: $25 from 7/15-9/07. $30 from 9/08-Race Day.
Online registration closes 09/29/17. In store registration will be available at packet pick-up on September 30th from 2:00-4:00 at Bull City Running Co. Race day registration will be available at Fullsteam Brewery from 12:30-1:30pm on 10/1/17.
PARKING is limited but here are a few good options:
The Municipal Parking Lot at Foster and Hunt (Durham Farmer’s Market, 5 minute walk)
Street parking on Madison Street (behind Fullsteam Brewery)
Rainbow 66 Storehouse at 706 Risgbee Ave.
Chapel Hill St (Rigsbee Ave.) Parking Deck
POST-RACE: After the race, we welcome you to stay and enjoy the live music and a complementary pint of beer from Fullsteam Brewery (with custom pint glass)! The 5K winners will be announced, raffle prizes drawn and ales enjoyed.
All 5K participants are also welcome to attend the Southeast Greenways & Trails Summit keynote speaker reception following the race at the Durham Armory at 5PM. Food and drink provided! Please RSVP with your race registration.
