IMPORTANT INFO
Directions: The trailhead parking lot is on Fayetteville Rd. across from newhope Church. (From Bull City Running, you would take a right on Fayetteville Rd., cross over 1-40, pass Southpoint Mall, pass Massey Chapel Rd., and look for the trailhead on your right.) Here is a Google Map LINK. The map is old since it only shows an open space and not newhope church – but it is there.
Parking/Facilities: Please park in the newhope church parking lot, directly across the street from the trailhead. please keep the parking lot clean. There are no restroom facilities on site, so please come prepared.
Route/Water stop: For those unfamiliar with this side of the ATT, this is a soft surface trail. Turnaround points for the 4-mile and 10-km distances will be marked – no additional mile posts will be marked. The 4-mile turnaround will be marked with two 2-mile markers on both sides of the trail. The 10k turnaround will be near the water stop at the 3.1 turn around.
Results: Runners will be timed and we will post results on our website. You’ll be receiving index cards as you finish. If you want your place and time in the results, please fill out your full name and distance run (10k or 4-mile) – these cards will also be used for a raffle back at Bull City Running Company.
Post-run “Breakfast with Brooks”: After the run, we invite you to come back to Bull City Running Co. for some breakfast, games, and giveaways compliments of Brooks!
**A note about our fun runs: we offer these events as an opportunity to get the running community together for some fresh air and encourage your training for upcoming races. These are not sanctioned events and they are not “supported” at the same level as a typical “race” – i.e. watch for traffic. But, they are free and we hope you’ll have fun! Thanks for your participation!
