Est. 2008
Bull City Running Co. was established in September 2008 and is one of the greatest adventures of our lives. It is proof and inspiration that you can chase down a dream and make it happen – regardless of age or finances. Our grand opening was marked by our daughter’s first birthday and the beginning of the worst global economic crisis since the Great Depression. We credit the enthusiastic support and encouragement from the community for keeping us afloat and we look forward to helping you achieve your fitness goals for many years to come!
Addendum: Callum Patrick, born Aug. 25, 2010 makes adventure #3!
George Linney (Monk), Evan Adler, Ellen Moss, Matthew Waller, Duncan Hoge, Brian St. Onge, and Sarah Kauk.
Our Small Business Philosophy
We thrive on being the hub of the local running community and we’re proud to be a local small business. We are rooted in this community and we exist because we sell good stuff and offer good advice to our customers. Your business is what keeps us in business, but we don’t exist to make a profit off of the community. We also run, eat out, drink coffee, drink microbrew, grocery shop, get our hair cut, pay for day care, and own a home in this community. We love Durham and we try to be a positive part of it. Hopefully, the products and services we offer will benefit our customers and in turn our customers will spread the good word and provide us with employment. It’s simple and accountable. Thank you for the opportunity.
